If you’re reading this article on our new website, thanks for stopping by! We hope you’re enjoying it, and we’d love any feedback you have to offer. Here’s a little glimpse into how the magic of the new site came to fruition.
We’ve known for a little while now that it was time to renovate our website. Our old site faired us well, but was just not cutting it when it came down to representing who Eventions Productions is as a brand and what we have to offer as a company.

The process started with brainstorming what was really important to us. We wanted to convey what we’re all about: Eventions Productions is a company that is creative, innovative, playful, stunning, and trustworthy. Now the hard part….how do we translate that into a website?

  • We knew we wanted the site to be user-friendly. We wanted people to navigate the site easily, find the information they’re looking for, all the while enjoying the time they’re spending. Our motto was “simple, yet impactful.”
  • We knew we wanted to let our imagery sell itself. Eventions Productions is lucky because we have so many stunning photos from events we’ve done in the sports, entertainment, wedding, and corporate industries. However, putting thousands of pictures on the site might have been a bit much. So we narrowed down the pictures and made a killer gallery that gives a good sampling.
  • We knew we didn’t want the standard boring team headshots where each person looks like a robotic version of him or herself. So we had a little fun with this! We went down to the Navy Yard with the incomparable photographer, Sarah DiCicco, and had ourselves an impromptu photo shoot with each team member bringing props that represent him or herself. Instead of one photo for each person, we used the triptych picture method of taking three separate photos that come together to tell a story.
  • Overall, we’re thrilled with our new site and think it does a good job of showcasing Eventions Productions in the right light. It took a lot of hours, creativity, brainstorming, updating, modifying, and tweaking, but we think it was well worth it!
